More Prototypes (Boxes)

Hello, This weeks post will be relatively short. I’ve been working on prototype boxes along with other game components. It’s very important to me that the game provides the best storage possible. Good storage can significantly improve setup and takedown time of any game. It’s also an area where many games could benefit from improvement. Entire businesses have been built around building replacement tabletop game storage options, and people spend a lot of money on it (including myself). I’d rather make the game come with the ideal storage when you buy it. I also think if a game is designed with storage in mind the two can work very well together. Here are some prototype “Tuck Boxes” that will hold item cards in the game. They will be stored inside other boxes that are specific to each character and creature in the game. If you have any game box storage ideas I’d love to hear them. For those of you building your own games, I’d recommend making your own tuck box templates like this one to quickly produce several prototypes out of simple poster board. Let me know what you think.
