Tabletop Game Photos & Videos

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share a quick update. I’ve been struggling a bit these last few weeks finding a way to get quality photos of my latest game - Track v0.3. In preparation for future games and other products I needed a solution. I was looking at the Canon 80D when I found out a lot of YouTube bloggers (Vloggers) were really loving this new Canon 90D that came with 4k quality video. Since I had need for making “How to Play” videos too, I figured I’d give it a go.

I picked up a few Aputure LED lights (Light Storm LS bi-color) to help with lighting and a sennheiser lavalier mic and I was good to go. All in all I’ve been really happy with the photos and video, but I must say it didn’t come without a LOT of tutorials and learning more about photography and lenses. I’m still no expert but I feel a lot better about the image quality which I hope will do a much better job of reflecting the quality of Track as well as future games given that top quality is a very important priority of mine.
